5 YEARS ON!

EDITORIAL. Wow, I never thought that it would be like this. That I would be celebrating just that - that I have managed to remain alive here in the void of the Universe. I know that only very few people read me, now and then, but I treasure it like the most precious jewel.
The day I started I didn't know what to expect. I wasn't expecting that anyway. It was more like just a will to fly. But now I know that - little as it may seem my little treasured jewel - it makes a lot of sense to me. And I am happy for that.
I wasn't expecting either that J would surf on a kayak nor that N would play the piano! I would  have expected it more the other way around! But so is life.  So, how about a little "home made" piano for the celebration?

  2. Bravo! Thank you for the best thing I've seen (and heard) online in weeks. You have a "homemade" prodigy on your hands. The piano is by far the hardest instrument to learn. I play but only for myself. Congratulations on 5 years of not publishing drivel.

  3. Well, happy blog anniversary!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting, which allowed me to find your blog and to take a look around. It seems we crossed paths a few times, just separated by time and a few miles....my hometown is just a two-hour drive from Würzburg. And I've been to the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island, just 80 miles from where I live now, in December...except it was in December 2012 (one year after you visited there).

I will look around some more. Nice to "meet" you!

  4. A belated congratulations on your five-year mark. I celebrated mine on Bastille Day this year. Thank you for your recent comment and I wanted you to know that I was speaking of you, "a blog friend," the other day. We were talking about travel in Europe with friends who travel and I asked if they had been to San Sebastian. It is on my bucket list.

Oh, and I have Piment d'Esplette in my kitchen.

    Bises,
    Genie
