THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE (1962) by John Ford

FILMS. It is not unusual for me to cry with a film. Even if it is an old movie(may be more for that). John Ford's The Man who shot Liberty Valance is an unusual choice to cry, that I concede. But then, they are such good fellows, John Wayne plays such a good fellow, rude and all, and there aren't that many good fellows on the road.

  1. Hello:
As it happens we are often very touched and moved to tears by films, books and, most often, music. Silly really.

  2. I think it is sad because, we think that John Wayne should never die! However he has died in many films and it is always sad.

  3. There aren't that many good fellows anywhere. I always like a good crying movie.
