GINGER

TIPS. By the Cathedral wall in Granada, this woman sold home made candies as a remedy for several illnesses. I bought the ginger ones, which she "prescribed" against sickness.
No more worries about the narrow mountain roads of Granada!
More ginger recipes: A big mug of hot soy-milk with a pinch of ginger for a soothing deep sleep night.

  1. Hello:
Was it a totally wise thing to have done?!! Rather like purchasing patent medicines in Hogarth's London!

  4. I love to put ginger in all of my food (well, almost all of it). In Russia, it was considered exotic. In Canada, I have discovered it for myself. Great photo :)

  9. Curious, really courious. I've tasted a delicious ginger's cake in Britain once. But I really distaste ginger's sugar,it reminded me a piece of soap.
Anyway, I do wish you luck with the candies! Hope they will work.
