ALGORTA. Since I won't be in Christmas this side of the Ocean, I went for a Christmas sail with old pals A and C. We boiled water, made coffee, and had it from some plastic glasses - nearly as a celebration - over the winter sea of my hometown of Algorta, on the Bay of Biscay.
So pretty. Looks like the shore of Lake Huron or looking across Marquette Bay on Lake Superior. The lakes are known for their lighthouses and the first picture reminded me of that.
ReplyDeleteNot fair! Whilst you are sailing that beautiful ocean, and drinking ( i assume) good coffee, i am running around after 4 and 5 year olds at Kindergarten and working hard!! :(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs..just read the link on the Bay of Biscay...sounds a bit treacherous..hope the sea was calm for you... looks like it was in your beautiful photographs!! :)
The shades of blue and turquoise reflect the dream and mystery of sailing. I hope that the winds were kind and that the memories are as wonderful as these photos!
